Less a tissue box than a small piece of sculpture. Solid walnut rises and falls like a line of low hills, with the grain running the full length and nothing added to interrupt it. The top and the base join with concealed magnets, so the cover lifts away cleanly when it is time to refill. Set it on a desk, a side table or a vanity, where it reads as an object chosen for the room.
